Principal Developer, Java Backend with Angular at Intro Pro Llc

Project description We are building a software update management system for a leading global automotive brand, focused on Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. The project is based on a microservices architecture deployed in Microsoft Azure. It includes a complex backend and a simple UI for internal corporate use, handling update distribution, monitoring, and management for secure vehicle software updates. Stack: Java (Spring Boot), Angular/Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies. Responsibilities Architect, design, and evolve the system backend with a strong focus on scalability and performance. Define and document system architecture, ensuring maintainability and extensibility. Develop robust APIs and efficient database schemas. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Ensure code quality, security standards, and best practices. Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks. Must have 5+ years as a Principal Software Developer, Software Architect, or similar senior role. Extensive backend architecture experience with Java (8+ years). 10+ years of professional software development. Proven experience with large-scale, distributed, high-performance systems.
