Journeyman Management Analyst

Job DescriptionECS Federal is seeking a Journeyman Management Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency's Enterprise Support Activities, Business Analytics Division (ESA-BAD). This position plays a critical role in improving organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency within the Military Health System (MHS) enterprise.In This Role, You WillConduct organizational studies and evaluationsDesign systems and proceduresConduct simplification and measurement studies and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.Evaluate program performance against established metrics and strategic objectives.Serve as a management consultant to internal stakeholders on operational matters.Provide recommendations to leadership on resource allocation and organizational structure.Develop analytical reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.Document findings, recommendations, and develop implementation plans for management review.Facilitate working groups and meetings to drive consensus on process changes.Required SkillsProficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)Experience with business process modeling and documentation toolsKnowledge of federal acquisition and program management frameworksStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to translate complex data into actionable recommendationsProject management and organizational skillsCollaborative mindset with ability to work across diverse teamsAttention to detail and commitment to quality deliverablesDesired SkillsExperience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or federal healthcare organizationsFamiliarity with DHA organizational structure and Military Health System operationExperience working in and with SEMOSS a plusLean Six Sigma CertificationECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
