Deputy Program ManagerEverforth ECS is seeking an experienced cyber leader to serve as the Deputy Program Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program, providing day-to-day oversight and leadership of CDM technical team operations including solution design, configuration, testing, release management, production operations, security engineering, and knowledge management services using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ITIL methodologies.The ideal candidate will operate as a \"servant leader\" to a team of over 200 individuals by proactively seeking ways to define and improve processes to align and optimize resources across functional areas.Key Responsibilities:Technical Operations LeadershipManage the day-to-day execution of all technical delivery teams to ensure seamless operational flowOversee day-to-day engineering task oversight and managementProvide technical SLA oversight and ensure SLAs are reflected in team plansMonitor and manage oversight of critical path itemsWorkforce & Performance ManagementEnsure the right people are in the right positions (manage technical staffing)Conduct resource estimation, staff alignment, and accountabilityOversee staff onboarding and security processesEnsure roles are clearly defined and teams are held accountable for service deliverySystems EngineeringOversee systems engineering optimizationDefine systems for effective end-to-end systems engineering best practicesWork with team leads to identify and implement systems engineering best practices and process improvementsProgram ManagementAssist with execution of program management duties, responsibilities and SAFe delivery modelCoordinate SELC coordination and complianceWork closely with the customer and team to define and implement delivery frameworks and strategiesFormulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projectsConduct ongoing risk and opportunity managementApply change, risk, and resource management to fulfill program objectivesSalary: $190,000 - $210,000General Description of Benefits12+ years of progressive and broad cybersecurity and program leadership experienceExperience successfully starting and managing multiple high visibility, high impact IT/cybersecurity projectsProven knowledge and experience managing projects supporting the Federal governmentDemonstrated success managing cross-functional, matrixed engineering teams to effectively deliver IT solutions development in large and complex application environmentsA demonstrated aptitude for complex problem solving and leading teams to success
