We’re hiring a Software Developer to join a small, experienced IT team that builds and maintains our core internal systems. This is a hands-on role split between software development and application support - you’ll keep our platform running smoothly while contributing to enhancements and new features. We keep meetings minimal, collaborate closely, and ship frequently.What You’ll DoApplication support (first line): Triage and resolve day-to-day support tickets for our in-house platform - often quick fixes or answers to user “how-to” questions.Bug fixes & small enhancements: Diagnose issues, implement fixes, and deliver improvements independently with guidance when needed.Feature development support: Partner with senior developers to complete and polish features that are already architected and partially implemented.Quality & delivery: Participate in code reviews, test changes, and help prepare for frequent deployments.General IT ownership: In a small shop, everyone helps where needed - expect variety and the chance to learn quickly.Tech StackBackend: C# / .NET 8 (actively upgrading to .NET 10)Frontend: Angular 21 (TypeScript)UI: Bootstrap 5Data: Azure SQLCloud: Microsoft Azure - cloud-first, no on-premises serversWhat We’re Looking ForRequired2+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent demonstrated experience)Working knowledge of C#/.NET and modern web development fundamentalsComfortable debugging and owning problems through to resolutionSolid SQL fundamentals - queries, joins, troubleshooting data issuesStrong follow-through in a small-team environment where ownership mattersClear communicator - able to help non-technical users and explain solutions simplyNice to HaveAngular or other modern SPA framework experienceAzure experience (App Services, Functions, CI/CD pipelines)Experience in a production environment with frequent releasesInsurance or fintech background (not required, but useful context)
