This site serves as our center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development, as well as high-complexity production programs.We are seeking a Receiving Inspector to join our team at our Culpeper, VA, location.Essential Functions:Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring and/or specialized equipment to perform inspections on rocket motors and rocket motor components under the supervision of higher-level inspectors, in accordance with AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements.Complete documentation, including IR cards, discrepancy reports, and related paperwork.Enter shipping data, discrepancy reports, and Oracle entries into the computer system for all programs.Qualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.Coursework from a trade or vocational school related to reading and interpreting complex blueprints and basic math.Understanding of relevant AS9100/ISO 9001 elements.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
