Integrated Accessibility Specialist
OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for increasing the number of individuals with disabilities served across partner programs. Your focus will be on streamlining access to services and implementing successful practices to support participant navigation through Workforce services and postsecondary training. You will play a crucial role in facilitating access to meaningful work-based learning activities and coordinating services to support quality employment outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner Engagement: Work as a WIOA partner navigator (WPN) embedded in the culture of designated Work One centers and VR offices. Build relationships across partner programs to ensure seamless delivery of services to individuals with disabilities.Knowledge Sharing: Utilize your expertise to connect individuals with disabilities to appropriate partner programs, promote cross-referrals, improve service access, and facilitate braided service delivery across programs.Resource Development: Serve as a valuable resource for colleagues, arranging cross-training sessions and enhancing overall program knowledge.Requirements Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in training, social services, workforce services, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field. Familiarity with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Rehabilitation Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partner relationships. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft tools. Ability to work independently and take initiative.Working ConditionsThis position involves working in various locations, including Work One centers and Vocational Rehabilitation offices within designated geographic areas. You will have a regular presence at partner organizations, attending both in-person meetings and remote activities as needed.Employment Type: Temporary
