State Software Fiscal Support Specialist

Role & ResponsibilitiesThe State Software Fiscal Support Specialist supports the use of all Fiscal Services software used by META Solutions consortium members. This position is responsible for providing professional client support; troubleshooting user issues; overseeing and performing state reporting of district information and providing training and resources to META Solutions clients.POSITION TYPE: NONEXEMPTThis position offers a flexible work arrangement, with the option to report to any of META's five offices (Athens, Columbus, Dayton, Marion, or Piketon) one day per week, and work remotely the remaining four days. Additionally, reporting to our Athens office twice per year will be a requirement.Primary Responsibilities IncludeMaintain an in-depth understanding of the state software systemProvide professional and reliable customer support for all clientsUtilize software to track and accurately respond to client inquiriesProvide user support; troubleshoot district issues; provide accurate solutions and answers to district inquiries by phone, email, or face‐to‐face consultationAttend trainings and disseminate software information to district users and clients of METACreate training materials, step sheets, and documentation to assist users with frequently asked questionsPrepare and host training seminars, classes, and other opportunities for district users to receive professional development as assignedPerform any and all other related duties as assignedQualifications & Education Requirements1-5 years of experience in nonprofit or school district financial officesAssociate's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field preferredEvidence of a high-level of computer application related skills including use of Microsoft Office; skill in using project management applications a plusSkill, knowledge and application of high-level computer skills including databases and spreadsheets, as well as some technical understanding of softwareStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to handle software user inquiries effectivelyAbility to take direction from several staff members and prioritize tasks fairly and efficientlyAbility to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholder groupsAbility to work in a team settingAbility to multitask and execute duties according to deadlines and with accuracyMaintain compliance with FBI/BCI background check requirementsNOTE: The anticipated start date for this position is no earlier than August 3, 2026.#J-18808-Ljbffr
