Term of Employment: Full Time/10 months with benefits, for the 2026-27 School YearSalary Range: $46,350.78 - $71,990.55 Depending on experience and level of education(FTE/starting placement may be prorated depending upon student enrollment)FLSA Status: ExemptSummaryImplement a certified caregiver curriculum consistent with the district educational goals and objectives, in partnership with business, industry and district stakeholders for part of each day. In addition, the individual in this employee will work with the License Nursing Assistant program as a Clinical Skills Nurse working with the students, LNA teachers, LNA Program Coordinator and the Healthcare Program Manager for part of each day.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.Teaches State Approved Certified Caregiver Curriculum, skills lab and/or clinical rotations to high school students.Provide constant supervision of students enrolled in the JTED Certified Caregiver ProgramsHave thorough knowledge of Pima County JTED policies that pertain to instruction, student discipline, Nursing Care Institution Administrators (NCIA) rules and regulationsWill teach Healthcare FoundationsMay assist other nursing programs as neededBe responsible for attendance, instruction, supervision, and grading of students, as well as maintain good communication with the Healthcare Program Manager, LNA Program Coordinator Assist with the advisor duties of the HOSA CTSO, involving students in activities at the local, state, and national levels and other required duties of a Career and Technical Education program.Assist learners in identifying learning needs and guides to appropriate resources.Evaluates effectiveness of learning strategies and outcomes of educational activities.Submit reports as requested, including grades, attendance, behavior, etc.Assist in maintaining program certification by the Nursing Care Institution Administrators NCIA as necessaryPerforms related duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsMinimum RequirementsMust possess a Career & Technical Education industrial technology certificate in Health Careersor be able to obtain a provisional CTE certificate in Health Careers.High school diploma or equivalentMaintains licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing from the Arizona State Board of NursingThree years practicing as a professional nurse and/or teaching experience to include career/technical/occupational/vocational education in a certified secondary program is preferred.Thorough knowledge and application of secondary curriculum and instruction in career/technical/occupational/vocational education, vocational work and apprenticeship programs is preferred.One or more years in supervising nursing assistants or possess credit for a course on teaching adults.Holds license that is in good standing and issued under A.R.S.
