Working a flexible schedule in a clean, climate-controlled shop with a team environment, you can expect to build custom designs using both TIG and MIG processes.What You'll DoRead and interpret drawingsRead measurements to weld assemblies using a variety of measuring devicesAssemble components using a variety of powered and hand toolsSet up and adjust welding equipment to perform high quality weldsOperate a variety of grinders to prepare, clean and finish weldsDaily production goals based on schedule to ensure on-time, high quality project completionMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GEDTIG & MIG welding experienceAbility to read and interpret drawingsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent mathematical skillsPreferred: 2 years' experience as a welderExperience with sanitary equipment fabricationOne or two year welding diploma from technical college or relevant welding experienceKnowledge of relative safety standards in the welding industry Training:All welding new hires will participate in APT's Welding Training Program to gain a thorough understanding of APT's welding standards and practices. This training will ensure you are fully prepared for success by familiarizing you with APT's high standards for quality and safety.Compensation and Benefits:Salary range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourThe salary range provided reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position. At APT, we are committed to offering compensation that is competitive and aligned with market standards, considering factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, and performance. As a result, compensation for the successful candidate(s) may fall anywhere within the stated range.
