SummaryYou will serve as a Supervisory Security Assistant (OA) in the Visitor Control Center (VCC) of NAVBASE KITSAP SEC DET.Duties Help You will prepare and maintain a variety of Visitor Control Center security support documents and records, provide customer service support, and supervisory controls over all security assistant personnel.You will initiate personnel changes as required, develop changes to position descriptions, develop and review task analysis performance standards and complete job performance appraisals.You will be responsible for enforcing strict installation access control policies.You will develop schedules for daily operations, planned special events/projects, and develop goals and objectives.Requirements Help Conditions of employmentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing and/or maintaining a variety of Visitor Control Center documents and records to support the organization; 2) Providing customer service to staff and visitors in a Visitor Control Center with both military and civilians; 3) Executing and enforcing standard operating procedures which govern installation access control procedures; and 4) Performing supervisory duties such as managing, organizing, directing, providing technical leadership and guidance, assigning and prioritizing work, position management, and evaluating work performance of subordinates.This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
