Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor II Float to join our team in Pooler, GA.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11:00pm with occasional weekendsEligible for 2nd Shift differentialAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market dataJob ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testingOversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areasEncourage process improvements and best practicesPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracyResolve any production errors as requested by managementResearch and resolve any production errors while escalatingEngage in continuous process and service level improvementsResponsible for enforcing and managing policies and proceduresPerform administrative dutiesTravel to additional sites when needed.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED or equivalentPreferred Qualifications3 years or more experience (lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment)Additional Job StandardsBe at least 21 years’ oldComfortable handling biological specimens Ability to accurately identify specimens Experience working in a team environment Strong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS Office Able to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testAre you organized, accountable, and have always gone the extra mile to make sure things are done right?
