Junior Systems Analyst Programmers

Job Location – Los Angeles 90012 – Hybrid on-site Tue and WedType - Contract 4+ MonthsPay Rate – $40- $ 45 Per Hour (W2 Only)Duties will include, but not be limited to:● Requirement analysis and documentations● Proof of concept designs for the proposed applications specifications● Develop the approved web application using industry standard tools (.NetCore, Microsoft SQL, etc.) with robust application logging mechanism foreasy debugging● Writing unit tests, conducting system testing, and participating in useracceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developedsolutions.● Javascript development● Convert legacy platforms to newer technologies and integrates with otherapplications via ETL or API data transfers● Check-in revisions of code using GitHub● Deployment of Azure Web App● Implement or utilize APIs to interact with applications● Design and create management dashboards and custom reports● Author and maintain documentation for code, as well as develop functionalspecifications, technical documentation and user guide● Work collaboratively with a team of application developers, subject matterexperts and business leads● Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formatswith internal and external teams● Perform code reviews of work produced by other members of thedevelopment team● Debug problems and troubleshoot application issues● Perform other related duties as assigned or requested● Ability to write secure, reusable, and maintainable code that adheres tosoftware development best practices.Required Qualifications:Credentials:● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relatedfield of study, or equivalent IT work experienceRequired Experience:● Website development using .Net, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.● Solution architect specializing in cloud-based (Azure) applicationmodernization; data services; and infrastructure technologies.● Familiarity with various libraries (.NET Core, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.) andFrameworks (React, Node.JS, etc.), Latest ArcGIS API for Javascript● Extensive programming skills using C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python.● Experience with XML or JSON and API integrations● Database design and programming using SQL (SQL Server).● Data modeling that addresses unique business processes, ensuresefficient data accessibility, and secure data resources.● Agile Software Development● Code versioning/Version control using GIT● Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formatswith internal and external teams● Ability to assess business requirements and efficiently design, develop,and implement software solutions to meet those needsPreferred Skills and Experience:● ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript● Mobile application development (Android and iOS)● E-Commerce and payment portal experience is a plus● Basic accounting knowledge● Experience optimizing code for system speed and performance● Strong QA skills - able to review work and thoroughly test code
