Location: Racine, WI (53177) Job Description: Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Rigorous precision in following standard protocols in adherence with a tightly defined scheduleAbility to work closely with others as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong initiative and drive for self-developmentA passion for science and willingness to learnConduct experiments utilizing standardized test methodsMaintain concise and accurate records of laboratory experiments and other documentation in Electronic Lab Notebook system.Keep Engineers and Scientists well informed of project status and results of laboratory investigationsPrepare samples and track documentation for stability, micro-challenge, toxicological, clinical, and performance testing.Follow general lab safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work areaOperate laboratory test equipment in a Chemistry laboratory.Required Education:Associates Degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, etc.)Top 5 Required Skills:Ability to lift 10-40 lbs.Must be able to evaluate visual criteria accurately and consistently against a standard scale.Technology Proficiencies:Microsoft Office products (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)Preferred Attributes:Understanding of the functional properties, proper use, and the environmental impact of ingredientsPossess an understanding of regulatory processes, i.e., EPA registrations; experienceDesign of Experiments or Statistical analysis skillsScientific curiosity and the ability to solve technical problems related to packaging, formulation and manufacturing
