Job DescriptionBalancing the Books for a Local Industry Leader-Flexible Part-Time/Hybrid Role! Are you an organized financial professional looking for a stable part-time role with excellent long-term flexibility? American Workforce Group has partnered with a locally owned logging company to find a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper. This position offers a unique, phased schedule that opens up into hybrid/remote work!Description for Accountant/Bookkeeper: Manage accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel. Process and compile critical trucking and fleet reports. Oversee routine payroll processes for the team. Prepare and file necessary quarterly tax documentation. Organize and finalize essential year-end financial reports. Details for Accountant/Bookkeeper: Pay: Competitive (Based on Experience / DOE). Schedule Evolution: Starts in July at 10 hours/week for training through September. Transitions to 20 hours/week in October. Flexibility: Eligible to work remotely a couple of days per week after the training period! Shift Hours: To be determined (Flexible daytime options). Requirements for Accountant/Bookkeeper: 1-2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel data entry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage a hybrid workflow.
