This locum tenens assignment offers 24-hour call coverage with minimal in-person requirements, focusing primarily on newborn patients within a Level 1 unit. Engage in a fulfilling role starting in June, with the flexibility of beeper call coverage to ensure work-life balance. Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: June 1, 2026- Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, with approximately 3 hours of in-person rounding per day if needed- Patient Population: Newborn- Location: Medford, OR- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Provide rounding to discharge newborn patients- Handle newborn coverage and respond to emergency events- Manage non-invasive ventilation and other specialized procedures as required Qualifications - Active Oregon medical license and DEA- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years- Current NRP and BLS certifications required Working Hours - 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with on-call coverage Skills - Expertise in non-invasive ventilation management for neonates- Proficient in intubation (ETT/NT) for newborns- Skilled in needle decompression and X-ray interpretation- Familiarity with UVC procedures Join us to make a difference in the lives of newborns, providing essential care and support in an advanced clinical setting.
