Electrical Analyst

Job Description: Seeking two experienced Electrical Analysts 2 to join the team at The Energy Center. The role is ideal for candidates with 3-6 years of relevant experience in electrical analysis or a related field, and a technical degree with an emphasis on Aided Engineering or Electrical Systems. As an Electrical Analyst 2, you will support a variety of electrical projects, manage technical tools, and ensure smooth technology transitions. You will also be responsible for developing training and maintaining key design tools, collaborating closely with internal departments, plant staff, and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Management: Oversee and manage Linc phones and leased computer equipment. Technology Transition Management: Ensure smooth transition into new applications and support technology adoption. Technology Development: Research and implement new design tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Technical Training: Develop, coordinate, and implement training programs for software applications, procedures, guidelines, and standards. Inter-Company Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments to support design tools, addressing hardware and software issues. Major Application Management: Manage access, support, training, and technical issues for key applications, such as PDMS and AutoCAD. Desired Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in electrical analysis or a related field. Technical degree focused on Aided Engineering or Electrical Systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. Strong communication skills (both oral and written). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Proven experience in building effective relationships with plant staff, engineering teams, and vendors. Additional Information: This position requires NERC/CIP access and adherence to PPE guidelines. The role is not involved in O&M activities and is not sole-sourced.
