This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming store.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceGreet and provide service to customers in an efficient and courteous mannerPrepare customer food orders in a timely and appropriate mannerCheck ID cards for legal sales of beer, tobacco, lottery and related merchandise Cash Handling & OperationsOperate cash register and drawer; receive cash, check or credit card from customers; make changeComplete all shift paperwork in an accurate and timely manner Store MaintenanceMaintain cleanliness and safety of store facility, equipment and premisesStock all shelves, coolers and backroomsAssist manager in inventory control: receiving, pricing and completing all paperwork pertaining to merchandise delivered by vendors Professional ConductAdhere to all Brew Oil handbook policiesConduct self in a professional manner at all timesMaintain work schedule and good attendanceCover shifts as needed when unable to work scheduled hours Qualifications Essential SkillsStrong customer service skills and friendly demeanorAbility to handle cash and operate cash register accuratelyReliable, punctual and dependableAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skillsHonest, trustworthy and professional Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to work in varying temperature environments Work Schedule Part-time and full-time positions available with flexible scheduling options. Employees must maintain their assigned work schedule and provide adequate notice for schedule changes. Various shifts available including mornings, evenings and weekendsFlexibility to cover shifts as neededGood attendance required Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
