Provide non-emergency transportation of patients and assume responsibility for various errands.Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* High school diploma or equivalency degree and good communication skills.* Able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.Required Length and Type of Experience* Must hold a current valid driver's license as required by the state and have an excellent driving record as verified by the state Department of Motor Vehicles.Required Licensure or Certification* Must satisfactorily complete CPR and first-aid training provided by Glenbeigh or provide certificate indicating prior successful completion of such training.Required Physical and Environmental DemandsHearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with patients.Ability to lift, push, pull, and position patients frequently.Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.* Potential exposure to injuries and illness* Frequent need to handle emergency or crisis situations* Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.* Potential exposure to the risk of blood borne diseases.
