Head Swim and Dive Coach

Job Summary Overview: Mountain Brook High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Swim and Dive Coach to lead our swim and dive program. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching, a strong understanding of swim and dive while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Organize and conduct practices, meets, and competitions. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration. Monitor and support the academic progress of student-athletes. Collaborate with the athletic department to promote the swim and dive program. Qualifications: Previous coaching experience in swim and dive is preferred. Knowledge of swimming and diving techniques and strategies. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Compensation: This position is supplemental only. Additionally, there is an assistant supplement available for those who may want to bring on an assistant coach.
