Learn more at www.stratishealth.orgWe are seeking a Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) to provide individualized assistance and quality improvement support to healthcare organizations and their staff, as well as community partners and interested parties to develop trusting relationships and to improve health care for American Indian Alaskan Native people. The position will require up to 30% travel within the U.S. This job is for you if you are (a)… Quality improvement educator, trainer, facilitator, and technical advisor.Experienced in assisting organizations and individuals in planning and implementing quality improvement efforts based on evidence-based and best practices, monitoring progress through use of data and interactions, and analyzing and diagnosing issues or barriers for the purpose of determining solutions or interventions.Skilled at building and maintaining relationships.Good at both verbal and written communication.Experienced with supporting documentation of project activities and deliverables, and summarizing lessons learned.Knowledgeable of adult learning principles and ways to educate and engage health care professionals.Able to find joy in problem-solving/pivoting/finding solutions. Able to synthesize information and concepts and use storytelling to impart messages and knowledge.Adaptable and comfortable with change and ambiguity.Team player – someone who enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and achieve goals.Strong commitment to population health, inclusion, advancement and belonging, and the systematic fair treatment of people of all races to ensure that everyone has a fair chance to succeed and reach their full potential.As well as… Have experience working on projects focused on health care quality improvement in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, across providers, or with community partners.Have an agile mindset, especially if you have experience or working knowledge of Agile Implementation or Implementation Science. Understand the importance of being able to match appropriate tools, methods, or technological solutions to the problem at hand.Are comfortable accepting a position that will require travel, including overnight stays.Stratis Health values multiple pathways toward attaining professional experience and education.
