With a focus on comprehensive care, we cater to individuals of all ages, including adults, children, and families.Role DescriptionWe are seeking an Optometrist for a full-time, on-site position located in Dartmouth, MA. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide preventative eye care services. Responsibilities include educating patients on eye health and addressing their vision concerns while ensuring optimal patient care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless and high-quality experience for patients.QualificationsStrong clinical skills in performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing ocular conditions, and prescribing corrective lensesExcellent patient communication and education skills to provide clear information about eye health and vision correction optionsAbility to manage and treat a variety of medical eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye diseaseExperience or familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentationAttention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environmentDoctor of Optometry (OD) degree and active, unrestricted optometry license in the state of Massachusetts
