Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Locums Job in Texas 24-Hour Call ASAP - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details ASAP - Ongoing Three shifts per month covering one Friday 7am - Sunday morning till 7am Temporary privileges available Shift Details Call response time: 30 minutes Average call volume: 1-3 phone consults per 24 hours Average patients seen per shift: 0-4 Call backs: Approximately 25 percent Admissions per call period: 0-5 Requirements Board Certified or eligible Texas license ACLS, ABLS, BLS, PALS Fellowship - Preferred Required Procedures / Skills Low and high risk pregnancy Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) Obstetric ultrasounds including performance and interpretation Level I screening ultrasound (viability) Level II targeted anatomic ultrasound Amniocentesis Low forceps delivery Decision-making for cesarean section Cesarean section Breech delivery Multiple births Placental abruption VBACs Repair of third and fourth degree lacerations Office and minor gynecology procedures including IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP Surgical gynecology including open procedures Laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures including tubal ligation and lysis of adhesions Operative and major gynecologic procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive lysis of adhesions Assignment Details Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient Admissions and rounding required Facility Trauma Level: 3 Patient volume: 0-4 patients per shift Beds in department: 6 Average deliveries per year: 900 EMR: Meditech Jackson and Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit+ Top Rated Malpractice Insurance+ In-House Travel Agency+ 24/7 Recruiter Availability+ Experienced In-House Privileging CoordinatorsExperience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.
