Our professional capabilities range from one network cable drop to turnkey multi-building installations and off-shore rig projects, including full audiovisual systems.Job Overview: The AV Technician is responsible for the installation of commercial and professional audio visual equipment. This position requires working closely with project managers, general contractors, sub-contractors, and clients to complete projects on time, within budget, and with excellent quality.Responsibilities and Duties:Performs work consistently demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge and being able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.Responsible for adhering to the company’s and client’s safety guidelinesCoordinates with the project manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and compliance with budgetServes are the main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns Qualifications:Be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervisionMinimum of 10+ years of AV installation experience with 5 years Lead Technician experienceAbility to problem solve and commission systemsAbility to read and implement construction and signal flow drawingsHigh standards of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimpingAbility to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionalityAbility to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they ariseNetwork cabling is a plusCTS certifications are a plusFamiliar with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP Systems, manufacturer’s certifications are a plusBenefits:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life401K with company matchingPaid Time Off
