Software Engineer - C++ Systems / GPU virtualization We're working with a fast growing GPU virtualization start-up and they are seeking a C++ Systems Engineer to join them on a permanent basis, 100% onsite in San Francisco.About them:The company provides GPU virtualization software that boosts utilization for operators of GPU cloud infrastructure. Backed by a recent $4.5M Seed round, the team has grown revenue from zero to more than $500,000 in 6 months.As employee number five, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys performance focused engineering measured at the microsecond level and who wants to work at the core of a low level GPU platform.You will contribute to the core virtualization stack, influence technical direction, and help support a rapidly expanding customer base.What you will do?Optimize a high performance C++ virtualization libraryResearch oversubscription, checkpointing, and distributed GPU cluster techniquesSupport new architectures through deep systems level understandingDebug complex production issues across the stackInvestigate performance bottlenecks in machine learning workloadsWhat they look forStrong C++ systems engineering backgroundDeep systems knowledge valued more than prior GPU experienceTrading firm or hedge fund experience is a strong indicatorOpen to exceptional fresh graduates with top tier internshipsDegree from a leading CS program with a GPA of 3.7 or higherMath or coding competition experience is a positive signalWhat's in it for you?
