Program AssistantReports to: Program DirectorSchedule: Part-timeHourly: $30-32About The RoleA mission-driven nonprofit organization serving adult women with autism is seeking a Program Assistant to support engaging social programs and community events in a welcoming, non-clinical environment. The Program Assistant serves as a key on-site presence—helping programs run smoothly while ensuring participants feel welcomed, supported, and empowered.This Position Schedule Is As FollowsTuesday 12:30-8:30pmWednesday 12:30-8:30pmSaturday 10:30-4:30pmOptional: Twice a month on Thursdays for special events, 4 PM–8 PM. Why This Role Stands OutFully paid medical insurance (excluding vision and dental) 401(k) with employer match Lunch credits and additional perks Supportive, mission-driven team and stunning workspaceRoom for growth within the organizationKey Responsibilities Of Program AssistantSupport weekly programs and events, including space setup, breakdown, and logistics Serve as an event co-host, greeting participants and helping create an inclusive, accessible environment Assist with evening and Saturday programming (required) Maintain accurate program records using Salesforce, including attendance, evaluations, and event notes Create event materials such as instructions, signage, presentations, and programs Assist with guest speaker coordination and onboarding Conduct daily space walk-throughs to ensure readiness and accessibility Track inventory and anticipate supply and purchasing needs Support basic AV setup and troubleshooting Assist with special events, mailings, and program-related projects Support hospitality needs, including catering coordination and meal program assistance Help manage shared staff amenities and community spaces Qualifications Of Program AssistantBachelor’s degree required 3+ years of relevant work experience Strong written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with technology and databases (Salesforce experience a plus) Flexible schedule with availability for evenings and weekly Saturdays Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities preferred Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, accessibility, confidentiality, and community-building Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented work style Why This RoleThis is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact in a close-knit, purpose-driven organization—supporting programs that foster connection, independence, and belonging for women on the autism spectrum.#INAPR2026
