This is not a traditional marketing or proposal management role, it is a growth leadership position focused on increasing market awareness, strengthening brand presence, and driving qualified opportunities across Cornerstone, Boreal, and Turnkey. Boreal Equipment supports construction and industrial operations across Alaska through equipment, logistics, and operational support solutions tailored to demanding environments and remote conditions. The company plays a critical role in helping teams execute efficiently, safely, and reliably across the state.Turnkey Property Solutions extends value beyond construction through ongoing property support, facility services, and responsive solutions that help clients maintain and operate their assets long after projects are complete. Together, the affiliated companies provide a more connected, full-lifecycle approach to serving Alaska communities and clients.All three companies maintain full-time operations in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau while supporting projects and clients across Alaska.JOB OVERVIEWThe Director of Marketing & Growth leads how Cornerstone, Boreal, and Turnkey show up in the market across Alaska. This role aligns marketing, brand, communications, and pursuit positioning across all three companies while supporting long-term growth, stronger client engagement, and improved pursuit outcomes.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this individual will collaborate closely with Finance, Preconstruction, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align marketing efforts with long-term growth objectives and measurable business outcomes.You won’t just support growth, you’ll help shape how three Alaska companies position themselves for what’s next. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTLead Marketing Across Three Companies - Guide marketing strategy and brand alignment across Cornerstone General Contractors, Boreal Equipment, and Turnkey Property Solutions, ensuring each company maintains its own identity while supporting a connected market presence across Alaska.Strengthen How We Pursue Work - Partner with leadership, operations, and preconstruction teams to improve how opportunities are positioned, pursued, and communicated before work is ever awarded, bringing clarity to messaging, differentiation, and client experience.Build Awareness and Industry Presence - Increase visibility across Alaska through digital marketing, storytelling, industry engagement, community involvement, public relations, and strategic campaigns that reflect who we are and how we work.Drive Brand & Communications - Oversee websites, social media, campaigns, and marketing communications to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all companies.Tell the Story of the Work - Help showcase projects, people, culture, and community impact through photography, videography, storytelling, and strategic content.Support Growth Strategy - Help identify market trends, emerging opportunities, target clients, and competitive positioning strategies that support long-term growth and stronger positioning before procurement begins.Lead Marketing Systems and Partnerships - Manage marketing systems, analytics, consultants, creative partners, and external vendors while improving processes, accountability, and overall effectiveness.Support Teams & Culture - Work closely with operations, preconstruction, HR, and leadership teams to support recruiting, internal communications, culture initiatives, and company-wide strategic goals.Measure and Improve Performance - Track marketing effectiveness, client engagement, pursuit outcomes, and brand performance while continuously improving how we communicate and grow.WHAT YOU BRINGYou understand how work is actually won in the AEC industry (long before a proposal is submitted).You can bring structure, clarity, and accountability without slowing teams down.You communicate clearly and confidently with leadership, operations, technical teams, and clients.You think strategically while still driving execution and follow-through.You know how to support doer-sellers and strengthen pursuits without taking over relationships.You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.You care about quality, consistency, and building systems that scale.EXPERIENCE THAT WILL SET YOU UP WELLMarketing, communications, pursuit, or growth leadership experience in construction, AEC, or related industries.Experience supporting multiple brands, business units, or teams.Familiarity with Alaska or similarly relationship-driven and logistically complex markets.Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, content strategy, and analytics tools.Experience managing consultants, creative partners, or external vendors.HOW WE WORKHybrid office and field environment with flexibility based on role responsibilities and business needs.
