This full-time Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) position offers an opportunity to provide critical leave coverage within a dynamic educational service district in Eugene, OR. The role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to a diverse student population, including those with moderate to severe disabilities and students requiring augmentative communication support. This on-site contract position extends through June 12, 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services, addressing a variety of communication disorders.Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Utilize both low and high-tech augmentative communication systems to support student communication needs.Maintain confidentiality and comply with all professional standards and legal requirements.Participate as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team supporting at-risk and special needs youth.Qualifications/ExperienceMasters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.Valid Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.Experience working with moderate to severe disabilities and augmentative communication systems preferred.Effective oral and written communication skills.Valid Oregon drivers license and, if required, First Aid/CPR certification.Location:Eugene, Oregon (On-site position).BenefitsOpportunity to impact the lives of students with diverse needs within a supportive educational environment.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on integrated student support.Gain experience in a well-established educational service district offering varied special education services.Interested candidates with the required qualifications are encouraged to apply promptly to support this important leave coverage role through June 2026.
