Assistant ManagerThe Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily food and beverage operations at the golf course clubhouse. This role helps ensure excellent customer service, smooth staff operations, and compliance with food safety and company standards while creating a welcoming experience for members, golfers, and guests.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising daily restaurant and bar operationsSupport hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staffEnsure high standards of customer service and guest satisfactionHelp manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and depositsHelp monitor inventory levels for the turn station and beverage carts, ensuring products are properly stocked, rotated, and available throughout the day; communicate restocking needs and assist with ordering to prevent shortages.Assist with the operational aspects of banquets and golf tournaments, including setup, staffing coordination, service execution, and breakdown.Monitor food quality, presentation, and service timingAssist with inventory control, ordering, and cost managementEnforce food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policiesHandle guest concerns professionally and efficientlySupport event and tournament food & beverage operationsStep in to lead shifts in the absence of the Restaurant ManagerRequirementsQualifications3 years of previous restaurant or hospitality supervisory experienceStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of food and beverage operationsExperience with POS systems and cash handlingMust be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 25–40 lbs as neededWork EnvironmentClubhouse restaurant, bar, and event spacesFast-paced, customer-focused environmentJob expectations may change with business levels (slower season position will turn into a bartending supervising role)*$20-25 per hour, when not supervising it will be a lower rate and ability to make tipsCragun's is the Lakes Area home for having fun and making memories!
