As we Create with Collaboration, Serve with Integrity, Grow with Excellence, and Advance with Innovation.You will be aligned to the Diversified Food and Health Division focused on Bevcorp product line located at the Eastlake, OH facility.On Any Given Day You WillThe Supply Chain Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing procurement and inventory management functionsDevelop and execute procurement strategies for direct and indirect materials to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.Negotiate and establish strategic supplier agreements, focusing on metals, fabrications, and electromechanical products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain and sourcing best practicesOversee daily operations related to receiving, warehousing, inventory, and shipping.Implement and monitor inventory control procedures, including FIFO, cycle counts, and inventory reduction/addition controlsMaintain physical condition and organization of warehouses, ensuring safety and cleanlinessCoordinate efforts for outgoing shipments, both domestic and internationalSchedule and prioritize shipments based on production needs and inventory levelsResolve transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and inventory management processes.Leverage data analytics to improve freight efficiency and performance.Analyze freight spending and identify areas for improvement.Recruit, train, and develop a high-performance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.Work closely with leadership to achieve financial objectives related to inventory levels and procurement costs.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in procurement, sourcing, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment.Experience working with ERP systems required, Epicor or JD Edwards preferred.High proficiency with inventory management, SIOP, lean manufacturing, and Continuous ImprovementExperience in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.Ability to lead and collaborate through changeSupport team with development and growthTravel up to 30% when needed Onsite SH1Must be able to work in the US now and in the future without company sponsorshipWe are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.We foster a genuine inclusive team culture enjoying collaborative working across our global teams to deliver world-class projects.We encourage development - ensuring new experiences and challenges at JBT Marel to feed your growth!Benefits: JBT Marel offers benefits on day 1 of your employment.
