This position is responsible for maintaining critical systems that support business operations 24/7/365 while helping lead cloud migration efforts and infrastructure modernization initiatives. This Senior Systems Engineer will have a strong focus on Entra/M365 and should have experience in conditional access, CIS/SCuBA compliance, Intune, hybrid join.If you have deep expertise in VMware, Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, AWS, storage technologies, and enterprise infrastructure operations, we invite you to join our team.What You'll DoAs a Senior System Engineer, You WillLead Enterprise Infrastructure OperationsManage and optimize a highly available virtual infrastructure environment.Administer VMware platforms, ESXi hosts, blade technologies, and SAN infrastructure.Ensure system redundancy, performance, scalability, and availability.Manage server lifecycle activities, including deployment, maintenance, patching, upgrades, and retirement.Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.Maintain backup and recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms.Drive Cloud Adoption and ModernizationSupport AWS cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure transformation projects.Assist with AWS Workspace deployments and cloud-based solutions.Partner with cloud engineers to implement and support cloud infrastructure strategies.Pursue AWS certification and expand cloud engineering capabilities.Strengthen Monitoring, Performance, and ReliabilityDevelop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions across infrastructure environments.Perform capacity planning for compute, storage, and virtual resources.Manage recurring security patching and configuration management activities.Maintain Microsoft System Center and related operational tools.Create performance and availability metrics to support operational excellence.Improve Documentation and Operational ReadinessDevelop and maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.Support knowledge transfer and cross-training across engineering teams.Participate in change management and configuration control processes.Support Security and ComplianceCollaborate with Security Engineers to implement infrastructure security controls.Ensure systems comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and HIPAA standards.Maintain security baselines across server, virtualization, storage, and cloud environments.Partner Across IT TeamsWork closely with network engineers, cloud engineers, security professionals, and business stakeholders.Support infrastructure projects and strategic technology initiatives.Evaluate infrastructure solutions and provide recommendations for future investments.What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.Extensive experience administering VMware environments, blade systems, and SAN technologies.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and patch management.Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments.Experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure and enterprise monitoring platforms.Knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure management, and disaster recovery practices.Experience with configuration management and change control processes.Strong troubleshooting skills across server, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Military experience in a technology-focused discipline.AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher certification.Experience designing and supporting highly available environments serving 300–1,000 users.Technical EnvironmentYou'll Have The Opportunity To Work With Technologies IncludingVMware InfrastructureCisco UCSStorage Area Networks (SAN)Microsoft Windows ServerMicrosoft 365 / Office 365Microsoft Azure / Entra IDAmazon Web Services (AWS)Active DirectoryExchangeSharePoint OnlineSQL ServerSentinelOneWindows 10/11 EnterpriseWhat Makes You SuccessfulWe're Looking For Someone WhoExcels in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.Stays current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.Approaches complex problems with confidence, urgency, and discipline.Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Thrives when balancing multiple priorities and projects.Takes ownership and works independently with minimal supervision.Values collaboration and continuous learning.Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the infrastructure that powers critical business operations.
