Fully Remote | 1099 Independent ContractorABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Bookkeeping Specialist to fully own the Accounts Receivable function in QuickBooks, with a strong focus on deduction management and recovery for food distributors such as KeHE, UNFI, and Amazon.This role includes hands‐on bookkeeping as well as analytical and follow‐up work. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently, managing complexity, and driving issues to resolution without constant supervision.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFull ownership of Accounts Receivable in QuickBooks Desktop / EnterpriseEnter, apply, and reconcile customer payments accuratelyPost, track, and reconcile deductions, credits, and short paymentsManage and reconcile distributor and Amazon A/R transactionsResearch and resolve payments received without remittanceDecode, analyze, and dispute deductions (shortage, pricing, compliance, promotions, damage, etc.)Maintain clean A/R aging, customer ledgers, and supporting documentationReconcile distributor statements and investigate discrepanciesFollow up persistently with distributor and Amazon A/P teams until resolutionTrack deduction recovery progress and ensure proper documentationRecord recovered funds, credits, and approved write‐offs correctly in QuickBooksProvide visibility into open deductions, aging, and A/R exposure when requestedREQUIRED EXPERIENCEProven A/R experience in food or CPG businessesHands‐on experience managing KeHE, UNFI, and Amazon A/RStrong deduction research, dispute, and recovery backgroundExperience handling payments without remittanceAdvanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop / EnterpriseExtremely self‐organized and able to work independentlyComfortable performing day‐to‐day bookkeeping, not just analysisROLE DETAILSPart‐time, ongoing engagementFully remote1099 independent contractorFlexible hours with consistent weekly availabilityCompetitive hourly rate or monthly retainer based on experienceThis is a remote position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
