We believe in sustainability, continuous improvement, and building teams that genuinely care about the work they do.The RoleWe're looking for a Field Services Manager to lead our field operations teams, including Energy Auditors, HVAC Technicians, and Weatherization Crew personnel. You'll own the full project lifecycle from initial audit through final post-inspection, and serve as the primary people leader for these departments.This is a role for someone who leads from the front, builds people up, and takes real ownership of operational outcomes.What You'll OwnTeam Leadership & People ManagementDay-to-day leadership of Energy Auditors, HVAC Technicians, and Weatherization CrewEmployee performance management, coaching, development, and retentionFoster a positive, accountable, and motivating work environment that supports safety, morale, growth, and retentionConduct employee performance evaluations including 60-day and annual reviewsAddress performance concerns through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action when necessaryAssist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and separation processes in collaboration with HR and leadershipEnsure employees are properly trained on company policies, procedures, safety standards, and quality expectationsOperational OversightOversee workflow and project completion from audit through post-inspectionEnsure field teams are aligned appropriately to support operational goals and workload demandsCollaborate with Service Coordination and Program Compliance teams to ensure efficient workflow and communicationMonitor department resources, productivity, workload capacity, and operational performance metricsParticipate in management and operational planning meetings to support company initiativesAssist in coordinating fleet logistics, materials availability, and operational readiness for field teamsQuality Control & ComplianceEnsure all jobs meet company quality standards and program requirementsOversee completion and accuracy of required documentation, photographs, testing, and job recordsCollaborate with field personnel and compliance teams to resolve missing documentation or quality concernsConduct quality reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce reworkEnsure adherence to all company procedures, safety requirements, and program standardsTraining & DevelopmentTrain and mentor Energy Auditors and Field Service personnel on technical skills, quality standards, workflow expectations, and customer experienceSupport ongoing employee development initiatives to strengthen departmental performance and career growthIdentify training opportunities and operational improvement areas within the departmentServe as a technical and operational resource to field employees and leadership teamsCustomer & Leadership SupportAssist with resolving escalated customer concerns in a professional and timely mannerMaintain strong communication with department managers and leadership regarding operational performance, staffing needs, and workflow concernsSupport company growth initiatives through operational leadership and process improvement effortsWhat We're Looking For3-5 years of leadership experience in field operations, construction, weatherization, HVAC, energy efficiency, or a related fieldStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and operational workflows in a fast-paced environmentExperience with operational software systems and workflow management toolsKnowledge of building science, weatherization practices, or energy audits is a plusValid driver's license requiredWhat Success Looks LikeStrong team morale and accountabilityEfficient workflow from audit through completionHigh-quality work with reduced callbacks and reworkSuccessful training and development of employeesAchievement of departmental productivity and quality goalsPositive collaboration across departments and locationsIf you're a hands-on leader who wants to make a real impact at a company doing meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you.
