Located in our Salem, NH plant, you will be a Process Engineer.As a Process Engineer, you will partner, with plant leadership to drive manufacturing performance and process excellence. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, improving throughput, and delivering strong results across safety, quality, and efficiency.You will provide technical support, troubleshooting process issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives while helping introduce new products into production and implement standardized processes. Through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration, you will help the plant consistently meet or exceed operational goals.Key responsibilities (to name a few):Optimize machine throughput and overall process efficiency to meet production targetsDevelop, support, and refine process set-up parameters to ensure consistent performanceTroubleshoot and resolve process issues to minimize downtime and improve reliabilityLead the introduction and ramp-up of new products into production, ensuring smooth implementationSupport and promote safety, environmental, and ergonomic initiatives within manufacturing operationsDrive product and process improvements to increase productivity and enhance product qualityDevelop and maintain standard work instructions to ensure consistency and best practicesProvide hands-on technical leadership to support daily manufacturing operationsFacilitate the implementation and integration of process controls to improve stability and performanceDesign and develop new processes, equipment, and next-generation manufacturing solutionsSupport Continuous Improvement initiatives and cross-functional teamsABOUT YOUBachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Plastic Engineering or related field1+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineeringStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systemsProficient in CADLean Six Sigma certification preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipBENEFITSFull-TimeMedical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options:Benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hireEligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation, additionally 8 sick days11 paid holidays401(k): company matching up to 6%Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsWHY GATES?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
