Operator/Utility Specialist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Operator to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in quality control processes. As a Utility Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our assembly line operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with quality control standards. Utilize hand tools and equipment to assemble components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to understand assembly requirements and guidelines. Conduct measurements using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in production. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow on the assembly line. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in inventory management within the warehouse as needed. Experience Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with a focus on utility operations. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with quality control processes and techniques is essential. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required. Previous experience working on an assembly line is a plus.
