Description Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks. Responsibilities Document user operations using front‑end tools to assist in test plan development Assist documenting the architecture, dataflows and workflows that make up a complex technology solution Actively perform outreach for issues reported via our service desk to ensure clarity and completeness Actively perform outreach to ensure solutions (i.e., bug fixes, enhancements, etc.) meet customer needs Assist the DevOps team with updating and maintaining System Health & Status tools Assist monitoring the health of the system during duty hours Maintain existing architecture documentation by working with team leads to understand impact of work in progress Assist the team in identifying risks and mitigations Assist TTO Lead with weekly status reporting Assist team leads with sprint activities: planning, ticket maintenance, retrospective Assist team leads with or lead documenting release notes Requirements Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; all candidates must be U.S. citizens Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Seven (7) years of experience as a systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required Five (5) years of additional systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree Required Skills Document user operations using front‑end tools to assist in test plan development Assist documenting the architecture, dataflows and workflows that make up a complex technology solution Actively perform outreach for issues reported via our service desk to ensure clarity and completeness Actively perform outreach to ensure solutions (i.e., bug fixes, enhancements, etc.) meet customer needs Assist the DevOps team with updating and maintaining System Health & Status tools Assist monitoring the health of the system during duty hours Maintain existing architecture documentation by working with team leads to understand impact of work in progress Assist the team in identifying risks and mitigations Assist TTO Lead with weekly status reporting Assist team leads with sprint activities: planning, ticket maintenance, retrospective Assist team leads with or lead documenting release notes Direct Hire Notice This position is open for direct hires only.
