SummaryUnder general supervision, this position will lead, plan, design, develop, improve, and maintain complex web applications, parts of a complex application/web systems, and/or large-scale application/web systems based on the Sitecore solution platform.Roles And ResponsibilitiesLead the technical design and development of Sitecore-based solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principlesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical solutionsArchitect scalable and efficient Sitecore implementations, including site structures, data templates, workflows, and integrations with third-party systemsImplement custom functionality, components, and modules using Sitecore best practices and recommended approachPerform code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor web development team to ensure the quality and integrity of the codebaseDrive innovation and technical excellence by researching new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our technical capabilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance and addressing security vulnerabilities as neededWork closely with product managers in the business to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budget and scopeSuggest supportive programming languages, design tools, or applications where neededDesign, develop, test, debug, and deploy code/systems/applications into EAA development and production environments, per standard best practicesDevelop appropriate technical documentation needed for systems/application development/deployment/supportConfirm data quality checks are performed and resolve anomalies, as neededComply with EAA and IT standards, policies, and guidelinesEmbrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environmentMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field5-8 years of experience in developing business application web systems with a focus on Sitecore platform v10 and/or XM CloudSitecore certification in v10.x and/or XM Cloud requiredProven track record of delivering high‑impact software solutions and applying comprehensive SDLC principles, practices, tools, and industry best standards.Demonstrated ability to understand business processes to identify opportunities for process improvement or automationProficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC architectures, with other relevant technologies within a Sitecore websiteExperience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, and jQueryExperience with Sitecore-related services like SearchStax, SOLR, SiteCore Identity (SI) Server, Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)Experience using Azure Dev Ops Repos and Pipelines to manage source code version control and Production deploymentsStrong working knowledge of relational database design concepts and techniquesExperience interacting with APIs, development services, and integrationsEager, Independent learner with a proven ability to research the most practical solutions to user problemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and able to exchange constructive feedback with team membersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience providing mentorship and technical guidance to web developers to support the delivery and maintenance of high‑quality corporate web systemsPhysical RequirementsTypical office setting.
