At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. Pay Rate: $22.00 an hour. The Ideal Candidate would have:1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military ExperienceActive DoD Secret ClearanceSecurity Experience 6+ MonthsArizona drivers license for over one year - with a clean driving recordActive Arizona guard cardWalk/Stand for Long Periods of TimeWork Outside in the ElementResponsibilities:Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalismConduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified informationGreet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit pointsFollow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnelRespond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarmsAct as a first responder in emergency situationsQualifications (Must Have):Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceMust possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMust possess one or more of the following:Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared sitePrior military experienceEffective written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional customer service skillsIntermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sitesPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):Prior law enforcement or armed security experienceAssociate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related fieldBenefits:Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positionsSchedules that fit with your personal life goalsOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more...Closing Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
