Assistant Project Manager
*Job Summary*
Eco-Staff LLC is seeking a Travel Assistant Project Manager with a strong background in electrical construction to support projects from initial planning through completion. This position offers *per diem* and requires travel to project sites. The candidate will work closely with project teams, field personnel, clients, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
*Responsibilities*
* Support electrical construction projects and help ensure work meets project goals and client expectations.
* Assist with project schedules, budgets, planning, and tracking progress.
* Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to keep projects on track.
* Visit job sites to monitor progress and help resolve construction or scheduling issues.
* Help ensure projects meet safety requirements, electrical codes, and industry standards.
* Communicate with clients, project teams, field staff, and management.
* Prepare and maintain project reports, updates, and documentation.
* Identify potential project risks or delays and help develop solutions.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* At least 3 years of project management experience in the electrical construction industry.
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, industry codes, and construction safety standards.
* Demonstrated experience assisting with or managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and documentation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or comparable platforms.
* PMP certification or a similar project management credential is preferred but not required.
The candidate will have commercial or industrial electrical construction experience, strong field coordination skills, and experience with budgets, scheduling, change management, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and client communication. They should be comfortable working with field teams and project stakeholders to keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
