With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!The Banquet Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all banquet and event operations at Hilton Richmond Downtown. This role ensures exceptional guest service, seamless event execution, and efficient management of banquet staff. The Banquet Manager works closely with the Sales and Culinary teams to deliver high-quality events while maintaining Hilton brand standards and achieving financial goals.Oversee all banquet operations, including set-up, service, and breakdown of eventsEnsure events are executed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and client expectationsMaintain a high level of guest service and promptly resolve any issues or concernsCollaborate with Sales, Catering, and Culinary teams to ensure seamless event executionManage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor costs in alignment with business needsTrain, coach, and develop banquet team members to ensure service excellenceConduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event details clearly to staffMonitor inventory, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readinessEnsure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety regulations, and company policiesAssist in budget management, cost control, and achieving revenue targetsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality Management preferred24 years of banquet or food & beverage leadership experience, preferably in a full-service hotelPrior experience with Hilton brand standards preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of banquet operations, service standards, and event logisticsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel systems (e.g., Delphi, OnQ) preferredAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 2550 pounds as neededFlexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysHilton Richmond Downtown offers a dynamic work environment in the heart of the city, with opportunities for growth within HRI Hospitality and the Hilton brand.
