Job Title: Personal Care Assistant – Learning SupportLocation: Drexel Hill, PA 19026Employment Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PMJob OverviewOur client is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support students with special needs in a Learning Support setting. The PCA will assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), provide direct support to students, and collaborate with educators and staff to promote a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of IEPs in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelinesProvide one-on-one and small group support to students with special needsCollaborate with special education teachers, therapists, and school staffSupport behavior intervention plans and help manage student behaviorMonitor and document student progress and daily activitiesFacilitate IEP meetings and contribute to problem-solving teamsUse technology and multimedia tools to enhance learningPromote critical thinking, collaboration, and independence among studentsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environmentCommunicate professionally with students, families, and colleaguesParticipate in professional development and school learning communitiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Associate’s degree (preferred)Experience working with children, preferably in an educational settingKnowledge of special education practices and willingness to learn new strategiesProficiency in multimedia and computer technologyStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to build collaborative relationships with students, staff, and families️ Required Clearances and CertificationsPennsylvania Child Abuse ClearanceFBI Fingerprint Clearance for PennsylvaniaPennsylvania State Police Background CheckTuberculosis (TB) TestCPR and First Aid CertificationBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
