Assist Physical Therapists and other interdiciplinary healthcare providers. Assist in the creation of individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their physical goals. Assist with Implementing therapeutic exercises and activities. Document patients' progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for continued improvement.A few must-haves for Physical Therapy Assistants ( PTA ): Graduate of an accredited PTA Program with an active PTA license in Indiana Minimum of 1 year of experience in Physical Therapy 1 year of experience in an acute, Acute rehab or LTAC hospital setting.
