You'll combine your experience in education with strong people management and strategic planning to create an academically excellent and welcoming campus.If you're passionate about cultivating critical thinking, challenging students to solve complex problems, and inspiring a love of deep learning, we want to hear from you!The Campus Director will:Lead all day-to-day campus operationsManage the full-time and part-time campus staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and schedulingDrive student enrollments and retention to meet business objectivesStrategically manage and plan for budgets, staffing needs, student enrollments, and class schedulesCreate a warm and welcoming campus environment for students, parents, and staffRegularly meet with current and prospective families in-person and virtuallyTeach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented classes that focus on understanding and developing skills, not on rote memorizationBuild community partnerships and attend outreach events to increase awareness of AoPS in the community and plan engaging educational events at the campusComplete other tasks and responsibilities, as assignedThe ideal candidate has:All of the following required qualifications:Teaching experienceBachelor's degreeMath and/or Language Arts subject matter expertiseStrong leadership and supervisory experience with demonstrated skill in effectively hiring, training, managing, coaching, and evaluating diverse teams of employeesSome or most of the following preferred qualifications:Advanced degreePrimary/secondary teaching experienceExperience supervising other managersExperience managing in an educational environmentMarketing, recruitment, or community engagement experienceAbility to teach advanced students in grades K-12Work Schedule:AoPS Academy is an after-school program; most of our classes and operational responsibilities occur during the evenings and on weekends. As such, it's expected that Directors work a nontraditional schedule during the school year.
