Data Center SuperintendentAs a Superintendent, you will use your innovation and problem-solving abilities to lead field operations and deliver exceptional projects to clients. You will oversee both self-performed and subcontracted work, ensuring compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and a strong culture of safety and quality.ResponsibilitiesOversee the timely and high-quality installation of all contracted work, whether for an entire project or a specific scope or tradePromote and maintain a strong culture of safety and quality among employees and trade contractors, including conducting regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with company, contractual, and regulatory standardsDevelop and manage plans to sequence work effectively, coordinate jobsite logistics, and track materials and personnelEnsure all work meets high-quality standards aligned with project requirementsTake ownership of delivering projects on schedule and within budgetDevelop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, ensuring clear understanding of key milestones among stakeholdersLead, mentor, and support team members to build a high-performing teamBuild and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholdersMaintain professionalism in all internal and external communications and meetingsDemonstrate working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreementsSupport development and monitoring of staffing plans, project costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Participate in project close-out activities, including punch lists and operational trainingApply advanced problem-solving skills to address challenges, conflicts, and obstacles on-siteBasic QualificationsDegree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experienceAt least 7 years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projectsProven experience delivering high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects from start to finishMinimum of 2 years' experience leading and developing teamsStrong understanding of construction processes, including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and workforce managementDemonstrated ability to lead field operations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholdersWorking knowledge of applicable safety and building regulations (e.g., OSHA)Self-motivated, results-driven, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong leadership and accountabilityPreferred QualificationsExperience with construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, and P6Physical RequirementsThis is a hands-on, active role requiring frequent movement across construction sites, including navigating uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The role involves bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting materials (typically up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds).You must be able to communicate clearly and have strong visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work. Some office-based work is also required, involving extended periods of sitting for administrative tasks.Work EnvironmentYou will spend significant time on active construction sites, requiring adaptability to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and potentially elevated or confined workspaces. The role also includes time in an office setting.Strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations is essential at all times.Work ExpectationsThis is a high-performance role requiring commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
