Oracle PL/SQL Developer

• Minimum 10 Years developer experience in an Oracle database environment • Must have worked on Oracle 11 at a minimum. • Experienced in SQLPlus • UNIX/Linux skills: work through command line and shell scripting • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and business users in conceptualizing and development of new technical objects • Analyze and assess existing procedures to allow the application to respond to business changes. • Evaluate requirements from functional specifications to create efficient technical design. • Develop complex technical objects in accordance with the technical development standards and best practices. • Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test various oracle objects. • Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business. • Participate in maintaining and debugging complex PL/SQL Packages, Procedures and Functions including the use of Oracle Text searches. • Experienced in optimizing performance, understanding database issues, tuning of SQL Statements for improved performance, etc. • Knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle and software engineering processes including Waterfall and Agile. • Responsible for working with various partners from business, technology and project management. • Applies analytical and interpersonal skills and experience to operations and customer issues. • Develops custom functionality for operations as required/requested • Must be experienced in Job Scheduling using AutoSys. • Excellent documentation skills • Excellent written communication skills Job Type: Contract Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: Hybrid remote in Plano, TX 75023
