Diesel Mechanic

Job: Mechanic Location: Springfield, OR Schedule: 40 hours per week. Summary The Entry-Level Mechanic is responsible for helping the shop with repairs, service and preventive maintenance of semi-trucks and trailers. Major areas of responsibility include: Perform oil changes Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Checks and monitors air brakes systems Perform related duties as assigned Skills and Assets Three + months of shop experience preferred Basic knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and hydraulic systems Basic set of tools and toolbox Ability to take verbal and written directions Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check What We Offer: Competitive Pay!
