Portfolio Operations Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Accounts Analyst to support a high-performing investment operations team within the asset management industry. This role is heavily focused on fixed income portfolios and will play a critical role in identifying, researching, and resolving reconciliation breaks across accounting, trading, and custodian platforms.The ideal candidate has strong reconciliation experience, knowledge of fixed income securities, and hands-on exposure to Bloomberg and portfolio accounting environments.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly separate account reconciliations between internal accounting systems, trading platforms, and custodiansInvestigate reconciliation breaks, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate mannerSet up newly funded accounts, including cash and asset onboarding within accounting and trading systemsWork collaboratively with operations, investment teams, custodians, and relationship managers to resolve issues and ensure data integrityMonitor portfolio activity across fixed income, equity, and complex securities, with primary focus on fixed incomeSupport process improvements, controls, and oversight to enhance operational efficiency and accuracyCommunicate clearly and professionally across internal and external stakeholdersRequired Skills & QualificationsReconciliation and research skills with ability to analyze and resolve breaks independentlyExperience working with fixed income securities (bonds, structured products, or complex securities preferred)Hands-on experience with Bloomberg (highly preferred)Experience with Charles River Development (CRD) and/or portfolio accounting systems such as APX is a plusAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in Excel and financial data analysisPreferred BackgroundInvestment Operations / Portfolio AccountingAsset Management / Investment Management / Financial ServicesExperience working with custodians and trading systems
