Worship School Coordinator

Position Purpose:Coordinator of Charis Bible College's Year 3 Worship School. To serve the Curriculum Department in administrative duties that support the Worship Arts School, its faculty/staff, and the students. This role is both administrative (task-oriented) and managerial (people-oriented) in nature.Essential Duties:Communication liaison with the Curriculum administration & faculty.Oversee and implement the curriculum for the Worship School.Provide Oversight for intern(s).Champion and execute plans, goals, and programs developed by the Worship School Director and the Year 3 Manager.Direct and oversee the daily operation of Year 3 Worship School activities, including orientation.Coordinate, organize, and schedule all activities pertaining to the Year 3 Worship School with the main school calendar template.Assist the Worship School Director in the development of curriculum and/or teaching courses as needed.Monitor each course taught to ensure proper scope and sequence, and be able to incorporate and relate material with students in the context of this role.Assess the needs, gaps, strengths, and weaknesses of each course taught.Advertise, interview, appoint, and oversee the Worship Arts school student interns.Preparing and revising the course schedules.Communication with guest instructors for their course schedules.Communicate with the Hospitality Team to have lodging and transportation booked for instructors as needed.Coordinate and troubleshoot the digital syllabus.Assist facilities departments with the design, function, and layout of the classroom.Submit classroom request forms for AV and facility needs.Maintain organization of storage areas and classrooms.Complete KPI reports for the Worship School.Teach courses for the program as needed.Working with the Year 3 Team and additional staff members for management, production, and editing of the course syllabi, tests, and other course materials.Recording grades for projects and participation grades.Facilitate communication between student-facing staff members for various academic needs.Represent the Worship School and assist with various aspects of Charis events requiring Worship School participation.Meet with students to assess their growth and provide academic guidance.Other duties delegated by the Year 3 Manager as needed.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Proven leadership skills.Music knowledge and ability.People-oriented with a heart to mentor others.Proven people management skills.Team player and servant-leader attitude.Willingness to grow in current trends & technology understanding.Good verbal and written communication skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Proficient with Mac computers.Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.Requirements:Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Must sign the Statement of Faith.A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.Music Education degree or musical experience equivalent preferred.Charis Bible College graduate preferred.Must pass all required checks.Experience:Successful leadership experience.Schedule coordination & management experience is preferred.2+ years of Worship Leadership experience in a local church is preferred.2+ years of teaching experience is preferred.Administration in the Education field experience is preferred.Compensation is commensurate with experience.We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees to include the following: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays per year (10), Flexible Spending Account (FSA)-Medical/Dependent Care, Health Savings Account (HSA), Voluntary Life and AD&D, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 403(b) Retirement Plan, Life Assistance Program, Accident/Hospital, ID Shield/Legal Shield and TelehealthAbout Us: Andrew Wommack Ministries (AWM) is a teaching ministry of unconditional love and the balance between grace and faith.
