Senior Manager of Operations - Consulting experience requiredNew York, NYHybrid Role – New York City (On-site 3–4 days per week)The Senior Manager of Operations is a key member of the Shields Operations Leadership Team, responsible for owning new initiatives that drive meaningful impact on operational outcomes. This role partners closely with Senior MPS and Strategic Operations stakeholders and reports directly to the Site Director of Operations to execute on the vision established by health system executive sponsors.The ideal candidate has strong experience in operations, data analytics, patient experience, and process improvement. They should be analytical, solutions-oriented, results-driven, an effective communicator in executive settings, and capable of leading a collaborative, close-knit team. They must also be able to manage multiple large initiatives simultaneously and be an independent problem solver who is eager to learn.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently own key operational initiatives from ideation through execution. A successful candidate can operate both in the day-to-day details and at a strategic level to maintain vision throughout major milestones.Manage multiple complex workstreams concurrently across diverse internal stakeholders and external health system partners.Proactively solicit feedback from end users (primarily MPS and Sr. MPS) to identify opportunities for reporting improvements and process enhancements across regions or specific sites.Maintain accountability over reports and analyses supporting core initiatives, which may include refills, new order intake, patient engagement, onboarding, operational efficiency, clinic implementation/optimization, call center management, and 340B claim management.Support pharmacy utilization optimization by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding needs, and developing high-quality presentations and data analysis to advance operational goals.Partner with regional leadership to design and develop ad-hoc analyses or processes that support key operational initiatives.Communicate staffing recommendations to regional leadership with clear justification and proposed allocation of workstreams.Drive innovation in operations reporting based on feedback, data availability, and insights across the team.Foster an equitable, collaborative environment for Operations Associates, Regional Integration Managers, and/or MPS team members, offering stretch assignments and encouraging knowledge sharing across sites.Empower and support site leaders to meet or exceed refill, onboarding, and efficiency targets.Drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders.Education & ExperienceAssociate or Bachelor's Degree preferred5–7+ years of relevant pharmacy work experience; leadership experience in cross-functional settings strongly preferredMBA or PharmD a plusExperience with pharmacy operating systems (e.g., Epic) a plusExperience with large enterprise telephony software and/or programs a plusExpertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau in a professional environmentAbility to manage large datasets and convert them into actionable reportingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and project management capabilities"Ownership mentality": able to understand business needs, think critically, and act without step-by-step directionHigh integrity, with the ability to maintain an equitable work environment, respond effectively to feedback, and take accountability for resultsEntrepreneurial mindset with comfort working under limited oversightStrong client management capabilities and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated through successful presentations and facilitationWillingness to travel routinely to health system partner sites; schedule may vary week to weekJob SalaryRange between $130,000 to $160,000.Shields Health Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.J-18808-Ljbffr
