We offer expertise in building security programs and providing essential support to keep companies compliant.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAccounting Functions: Responsible for ensuring that a company’s financial records are accurate and complete. To fulfill their key responsibility, they perform a variety of Accounting Specialist job duties, including:Daily bookkeeping to properly record financial transactions on Wave Accounting cloud-based system.Accounts payable: bill-pay and record keeping.Invoicing customers on a monthly basis, cash application, and follow up on past due invoices.Monthly payroll, 401k and benefit entry, reconciliation, and state filings.Assist with vendor management, maintain business insurance and business registrations, and general business compliance.Monthly reconciliation and generating monthly financial reports.Assisting CPA firm with tax related items and filings.Business Operations Functions:Assist with HubSpot CRM records for candidates and potential customers.Coordinate hiring lifecycle from candidate acquisition and vetting through new hire on-boarding tasks.Employee on-boarding, E-Verify, background checks, benefit enrollment, etc. Review timecard and project reports to generate accurate Client invoices. Assist with IT reports notifying internal staff regarding quarantined email.Administrative Functions:Marketing tasks in coordination of monthly newsletter and social media.Check UPS mail and packages, shipping, etc.Coordinate external communications with candidates, vendors, customers and other parties.Relay messages and calls internally (MS Teams/Auto-Attendant).General administrative tasks assigned by management.QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTSStrong oral and written communication skills.Strong computer skills & proficiency within Microsoft Office suite.Highly organized with the ability to multitask. Friendly, team player with a professional demeanor and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.Ability to work independently in a remote environment and take initiative to complete projects and tasks accurately and timely. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.Accounting or business degree, with an understanding of accounting principles and business finance.5+ years in a professional office environment.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or human resource’s role.Experience in consulting, staffing or federal contracting preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT · This position requires long periods performing tasks on a computer as well as calls/virtual meetings. · This job function is primary performed in a remote setting; however frequent in-person meetings will be scheduled at a shared office space.· The noise level in the work environment should be fairly quiet and free of distractions.BENEFITSCompetitive SalaryPaid Time OffUnited Healthcare Medical InsuranceDental and Vision Insurance AvailableFlexible Spending Account401(k) Retirement Plan
