Video Editor
Our client, an Overland Park-based healthcare technology company has an immediate need for a Video Editor with motion graphics skills. This role starts as soon as we've identified the ideal candidate, and will continue 20-30 hours per week with the potential to convert to a full-time, salaried position with benefits.The ideal candidate is local to the Overland Park / Kansas City area and available for occasional onsite meetings and collaboration sessions. We're looking for a proven Video Editor who brings strong storytelling instincts, can independently identify the best moments from raw footage, and transforms content into compelling, audience-ready videos for digital channels.Video Editor Responsibilities:Edit client testimonial videos focused on the companies products, partnerships, and outcomesShape narratives by selecting impactful clips, sequencing content, and enhancing storytelling flowAdd b-roll, animated text, on-screen graphics, and logo animationsElevate basic footage into polished, brands-aligned video deliverablesPartner closely with the Director of Creative Services, Video Producer, and internal marketing teamsWork from creative briefs, while also contributing proactive storytelling ideas Video Editor Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of professional video editing experienceStrong storytelling and editorial judgmentAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator (for motion assets as needed)Experience editing testimonial-driven, narrative videosAbility to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of editsComfortable working in a collaborative, service-oriented internal agency modelLocal to Overland Park/Kansas City areaInterest in longerterm engagement or FTE conversionHealthcare, B2B, or technology industry experience a plus In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
